Clarity starts here.

If you’re considering submitting a card — or need to understand whether it belongs in the Special One Cards ecosystem — this is the right place to start.

We don’t handle volume requests or generic grading questions.

Use this form if:

  • You believe your card may be truly one-of-one

  • You’re unsure which authentication path applies

  • You need clarification before submitting

If it makes sense, we’ll reply.

If it doesn’t, we’ll say so.

Either way, you’ll get clarity.

Please read the FAQs before contacting us.
Not every card belongs here — and that’s fine.

FAQs

Find answers about true one-of-one cards, our authentication paths, pricing, packaging and shipping. Please read these FAQs before contacting us.

General

Do you grade cards?

No.

Special One Cards authenticates cards. We do not perform grading or condition scoring.

Our focus is on recognition, authenticity, and provenance — especially for true one-of-one cards.

What type of cards can I submit?

Our primary focus is on true one-of-one (1/1) trading cards — cards where only a single example exists in the world.

We also operate a curated program (Ark of Noah) that allows one card per reference to be authenticated within the SOC ecosystem.

All submissions are subject to verification.

What does “true 1/1” mean?

A true 1/1 card is objectively unique.

It does not depend on population reports, grading conditions, or future submissions.

Only one exists. Permanently.

Is a PSA Pop 1 the same as a true 1/1?

No.

A PSA Pop 1 means only one card currently holds that grade.

More examples may exist now or appear in the future.

A true 1/1 exists only once, regardless of grading.

Can any card be submitted?

No.

All submissions go through an initial verification process.

If a card does not meet SOC criteria, it will not proceed.

This is intentional.

Authentication Process

What happens after I submit the contact form?

Your message will be reviewed to determine whether it fits within the Special One Cards ecosystem.

If it does, you’ll receive guidance on next steps.

If it doesn’t, we’ll say so clearly.

Is authentication guaranteed after submission?

No.

Submission does not equal acceptance.

All cards must pass verification before authentication.

Do you authenticate previously graded cards?

Previously graded cards may be considered only if they meet SOC criteria.

Prior grading does not guarantee acceptance.

How long does the authentication process take?

Estimated timelines:

  • True 1/1 Authentication: 2–4 weeks

  • Ark of Noah Authentication: 3–6 weeks

These are estimates, not guarantees.

Do you offer express or priority services?

No.

All cards follow the same process and standards.

Pricing

How much does authentication cost?
  • True 1/1 Authentication: €99 + VAT + shipping

  • Ark of Noah Authentication: €39.99 + VAT + shipping

Pricing is fixed and transparent.

No hidden fees. No value-based pricing.

Packaging & Shipping

How should I package my card?

Cards must be packed securely to prevent any damage during transit.

We recommend:

  • Penny sleeve + semi-rigid or top loader

  • Bubble wrap protection

  • Rigid outer packaging

Please follow our bulletproof packaging instructions carefully.

Improper packaging may result in rejection or delays.

Who is responsible for shipping?

The sender is responsible for:

  • Secure packaging

  • Shipping costs

  • Customs declarations (if applicable)

Special One Cards is not responsible for damage caused during transit due to inadequate packaging.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes.

International submissions are accepted.

Collectors are responsible for any customs-related requirements.

Ark of Noah

What is the Ark of Noah?

The Ark of Noah is a curatorial program.

It allows Special One Cards to authenticate one single card per reference within the SOC ecosystem.

It does not imply global uniqueness.

Is the Ark of Noah a population report?

No.

We do not operate population-based scarcity models.

Final Clarifications

Can I submit multiple cards at once?

No.

Special One Cards does not operate on volume or bulk submissions.

Can you tell me in advance if my card will be accepted?

We can review eligibility during the verification stage.

We do not pre-confirm outcomes outside the process.

Is Special One Cards an investment service?

No.

Authentication is about recognition and preservation.

Any investment decision is the collector’s responsibility.
