Protect your one-of-one card
Secure packaging protects your card in transit. Prepare one card per submission, and ship only after receiving approval and shipping instructions from Special One Cards.
1. Protect a card that is not yet encapsulated
- Place your card in a soft protective sleeve.
- Place the sleeved card in a semi-rigid holder or top loader.
- Protect the holder between two pieces of cardboard slightly larger than the card. Secure them gently so the card cannot move.
Do not pack the card too tightly. Excessive pressure may damage it. Special One Cards accepts one card per submission.
2. Protect a card that is already encapsulated
- Keep your card in its existing slab.
- Protect the slab between two pieces of cardboard slightly larger than the slab.
- Secure the cardboard gently and wrap the slab in protective packing material.
Do not pack the slab too tightly. Special One Cards accepts one card per submission.
3. Pack and ship your protected card
- Wrap your protected card or slab in bubble wrap or suitable packing material.
- Place it in a sturdy cardboard box, with enough padding to prevent movement.
- Include the submission or order confirmation supplied after approval.
- Seal all edges of the box securely with packing tape.
- Ship only after approval, following the shipping instructions received by email.
Poorly sealed packages may be rejected. The sender is responsible for secure packaging, shipping costs and applicable customs declarations.
